ARGENTINA, LAND OF AIR, WATER AND FIRE

Breathtaking landscapes and an exciting capital Buenos Aires, welcome to Argentina¡

Many options are available, the north with the deserts, Iguazu waterfalls, Buenos Aires and Patagonia.

Distances are huge by land and flights are necessary, but it's also possible to rent a car and follow the wind; why not on the Ruta 40, the Panamerican road which ends in Ushuaia.

THE BIG NORTH OF ARGENTINA

Salta and Iguazu

Lunar landscapes with national parks in the far north, or tropical climate and the fantastic Iguazu falls, this region of Argentina is well worth a long journey.

CENTRAL ARGENTINA

Buenos Aires, Mendoza and Cordoba.

The main gateway to the country, we recommend several days in Buenos Aires, a vibrant city with much to offer.

The area of Mendoza is the heart of Argentina’s wine country with high end boutique hotels nestled at the feet of the high Andes offering great out door activities such as treks.

NORTH PATAGONIA

Bariloche and Peninsula Valdes

Patagonia is a huge territory. The north of Patagonia encompasses a lake district and , mountains offering plenty of active out door pursuits.

On the Atlantic side, we find the Valdes Peninsula, swept by the Patagonian winds. Here it is possible to observe whales. Penguins, elephant seals and sea lions. It's the highest concentration of fauna in the southern hemisphere.

THE GREAT SOUTH, SOUTH PATAGONIA and TIERRA DEL FUEGO

Calafate, El Chalten, Ushuaia

The great south, landscapes of pampas, glaciers, steppe and incredible contrasts in one of the least populated places in the World. The Perito Moreno is an incredible show.

El Chalten is the starting point to trek to the bases of Mount Fitz Roy and Cerro Torre. For the sporty, it is renowned climbing as well as impressive walks and treks.

Ushuaia, the end of the world, is the starting point for navigation to the Antarctic or Cape Horn

Route 40

This long road that crosses Argentina from the north to south, offers an amazing adventure, going through national parks, many of which are world heritage sites, constantly changing landscapes depending on  the latitude, sometimes taking you back in time; a much wilder version of route 66 in the USA.

It is  possible to do different parts of the route, depending on available time, under the sun of the Salta, or through the strong winds of Patagonia.
